Amazon began humorous drones to deliver small packages to homes in College Station, Texas, and Lockeford, California, last month, according to a portray from Ars Technica last week. The retail giant had aimed ahead to the launch of its new delivery scheme back in June. Amazon hopes to expand Prime Air to more locations in the future.
Amazon says the Prime Air drones can safely fly packages weighing up to 5 pounds. The flying bots arrive at a customer's backyard, fall and hover at a safe height, then lower the package. Residents in the two towns can sign up with Amazon for the new delivery service.
Prime Air uses MK27-2 drones that have six propellers and can move over the air with minimum noise. Installed algorithms are said to keep the drones from hitting obstacles such as noteworthy lines and chimneys.
Customers in the two towns can question more deliveries from Amazon, which is looking to have deliveries take less than 60 minutes in the future.
"Prime Air drone deliveries to customers in Lockeford, California and College Station, Texas have started. Our aim is to safely introduce our drones to the skies. We are starting in these communities and will gradually expand deliveries to more customers over time," Amazon spokesperson Av Zammit told CNET.

The new models share the same design and starting prices as their predecessors, but Apple promises better performance and longer battery life with the new chips that work the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips in the continue versions.
The new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro starts at $1999, and the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro starts at $2,499. The new machines are available now, and orders will commence shipping on Jan. 24. While Amazon, Adorama and Best Buy have the best prices at the moment, one benefit to paying full price and buying from Apple is that you can customize the machine and add more RAM or a higher-capacity solid-state strength. The models sold by Amazon and other retailers are fixed configurations.

The overall selection is not as vast as some of the spanking online florists but what it does, it does well. There's a specific rustic look to Farmgirl's bountiful arrangements, too, that is underscored by the burlap wrap each blooming bouquet is swathed in.
What we liked and didn't like: Something throughout my Farmgirl Flowers bouquet just felt more special than most of the others. Maybe it was that burlap wrap or that the recent bouquet itself seemed more full, but in terms of overall presentation, it was the clear winner of the services we tested. My bouquet also seemed to get quite a bit more enchanting when given water and flower food as the foul instructions directed me to and kept form for a solid week.
Other members of the team had incompatibility positive experiences, with one recalling how much her mother "loved the packaging and foul about how beautiful the floral bouquet was." After a 2021 cyberattack exposed millions of customers' personal interrogate, T-Mobile agreed to a $350 million settlement to resolve claims that its negligence led to the breach. It was second-largest data breach settlement in US history, following Equifax's $700 million settlement in 2019.

The Galaxy S20 was a powerhouse of its day, packing potent specs, 5G connectivity and a multiple camera setup on the back that can take graceful photos. But then the cheaper OnePlus also has 5G and also has multiple rear cameras and its processor is obedient of handling everything from Instagramming to gaming.
The Galaxy S20 has a much more distinguished processor and its rear camera setup takes better images and includes a superwide causes option not found on the Nord. Its flagship build makes it feel like the more premium device as well. It also accounts waterproofing and wireless charging, neither of which are offered on the financial plan Nord CE 2 Lite. But the Nord has one maximum thing on its side; its age.

OnePlus has promised that the Nord CE 2 Lite will demand three years of security updates from when it launched, which operating it will be safe to use until at least April 2025. Samsung announced it will wait on its phones for longer than it's previously done, giving the S20 5G four existences of security updates -- and some of its more original handsets will get updates for even longer. But the S20 is already almost three existences old, so it'll still only get updates until February 2024 -- at least a year less than the OnePlus.

So at what time used flagships like the S20 5G offer a more premium accepted overall, their usable lifespan is likely to be shorter. But two years is still a good amount of time, particularly if you're looking for a cheaper requested simply to tide you over for a year or so. Buying a used flagship that's a year or two old can be a well-behaved way of putting great tech in your pocket on the financial plan. You can buy newer models for more money that will be supported for longer, or you can buy much older ones for low prices -- but these may be out of wait on and so should not be on your shopping list.
Only you can settle what's more important to you; longer support, higher-end replace or price. Buying used or new means balancing those three elements, but neither option is necessarily 'better' than the latest. It's just down to what makes sense for your contains or budget. For my money with these phones, I'd opt for the S20 5G. It's smooth got plenty of support time left and its overall replace -- especially from its cameras -- would make it more usable for me on a day-to-day basis. Processor performance: Galaxy S20 beats Nord CE 2 Lite
My S20 5G runs an Exynos 990 processor -- Samsung's top processor at the phone's initiate -- with 12GB of RAM, while the Nord CE 2 Lite uses a lower-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip with 8GB of RAM.
